Shenzhen, China
http://world-research-institutes.org/conferences/CMC/2010
Call for Papers & Expo
CMC 2010 intends to be a global forum for researchers and
engineers to present and discuss recent advances and new
techniques in communications and mobile computing. We invite
you to submit your original papers on the most recent results
and technology trends to one of the 5 symposiums. Due to numerous
requests, the submission deadline is extended to 15 November 2009.
CMC 2010 conference proceedings will be published by the IEEE
Computer Society's Conference Publishing Services (CPS) which
will include the conference proceedings in the IEEE Xplore and
submit to Ei Compendex and ISTP for indexing (CMC 2009 proceedings
were already indexed in Ei). The registration fee of $430 includes
lunches, dinners, and banquet.
CMC 2010 is organized by the College of Information Engineering,
Shenzhen University, China. In addition to research papers, CMC
2010 also seeks exhibitions of modern products and equipment for
communications and mobile computing.
Shenzhen, situated just across the border from Hong Kong, is a
beautiful coastal city in southern China. It is a showcase of
China¡¯s reforms and opening up to the rest of the world. In 27
years, Shenzhen has developed from a small fishing village into a
modern city with a population of 12 million and a gross domestic

International conference on
Integration of Artificial
Intelligence and Operations Research techniques in Constraint Programming
DEIS - UNIVERSITA' DI BOLOGNA
ITALY

Intelligence and Operations Research techniques in Constraint Programming
will be held in Bologna, Italy, June 14-18, 2010. The CPAIOR 2010 Program
Committee invites proposals for the Workshop Programme.
The aim of the conference is to bring together interested researchers from
Constraint Programming (CP), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Operations
Research (OR) to present new techniques or new applications in
combinatorial optimization and to provide an opportunity for researchers
in one area to learn about techniques in the others. A main objective of
this conference series is also to give these researchers the opportunity
to show how the integration of techniques from different fields can lead
to interesting results on large and complex problems.
CPAIOR 2010 workshops will provide an informal setting where workshop
participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific technical
topics in an atmosphere that facilitates the active exchange of ideas. It
is an opportunity to disseminate work in progress or to promote new and
emerging areas on the intersection of CP, AI, and OR.
All workshops will take place on 15 June, 2010 at the site of the main
conference. Workshops can be proposed for a full or a half day. The
internal format of the workshop will be determined by the organisers of
each workshop.

The Center for Operations Research and Econometrics of the Universite
catholique de Louvain (Belgium) is offering research fellowships in
operations research (including mathematical programming and
optimization), economics and econometrics, starting September 1st,
2010.

their Ph. D. degree before September 1st, and by more mature
candidates who have demonstrated their research experience through
publications. Fellows are expected to publish their research results
in the discussion paper series of CORE, to present seminars at CORE
and to interact with faculty and students in residence at CORE. A
light contribution to doctoral level teaching can be required.
Positions are for up to three years at the assistant professor level
and are open to candidates with a PhD degree. It is critical that
candidates in the PhD stage have successfully defended their PhD
thesis before arriving on September 1st, 2010.
Additional information: net salary (of the order of 2050 euros)
includes health insurance ; one return trip from/to living place ;
CORE secretariat helps in finding accommodation ; a research budget of
2000 euros per academic year offered, which can be used for
professional travels or expenses.
Applications (Personal data, CV, degrees, current position, research
interests with sample papers and name of 3 referees) must be filled
through the website
http://pdc.core.ucl.ac.be/FELLOWS/index.php,
